Danielle Gumbin (b.1992)

Danielle Gumbin is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work explores themes surrounding disease, death culture, epigenetics, and intergenerational trauma.

She received her BFA from The Savannah College of Art and Design in 2015, and her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2021. Danielle was a NICHE award finalist in 2016 and a Fulbright semi-finalist in 2021. She has completed art residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, the Icelandic Textile Center, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Mudhouse Residency, and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
